Q: Why a laser engraved bat?
A: Players love miniature baseball bats, and laser engraving produces a 3-dimensional, textured feel that looks great. The logo and text are not just painted or silk screened, but engraved deep into the wood with incredible detail and precision (much more dramatic than web pages will show). As a result, they look great in the trophy case and will last a lifetime. In addition, they are priced to be affordable.

Q: What can be engraved on the bat?
A: We will engrave anything you want - name, number, batting average – anything at all. We will try to accommodate any length of text requested; however, remember that the more text, the smaller the print to fit it on the bat. If it is too much or we feel that it just doesn't look right, we will contact you before we begin production.

If you don’t need your bats personalized, you may just want your team and year printed (“Grand Rapids Tigers 2006”), camp (“State University Baseball Camp July 2006”) or league or tournament accomplishment (“Scottsdale Yankees District Champs June 2006). We will place the text on the bat in the manner we feel looks best unless we receive specific instructions from you.

You can send us your logo and we will engrave that also. If you don’t have a logo, we can use a generic logo showing your mascot (which we can supply), or engrave the “Bambino Bats” logo. If we create a logo for you, we will first get your approval on logo design before starting production. We can even substitute your team or league name into the Bambino Bats logo with your city and state.

Just indicate on the order form how you want your bats laid out.

Q: Can the logo be colored?
A: No

Q: What is the difference between Ash and Birch?
A: Ash is traditionally the most common wood used in full size wood bats and shows more grain. Birch, however, is a “clearer” wood with an even grain. Both look great! All bats are hand dipped with a high gloss finish.

Q: Do the bats come with a stand?
A: No. The bat stand or wall hanger can be purchased separately.

Q: How long does it take to get my bats?
A: Under normal schedules, we begin production the same day we receive your order and ship it no more than two days later. Our busy season is late April and May. During this period additional delays of 4-5 days can be expected. Orders paid by personal check are subject to an additional delay of up to 10 days. If you need your bats immediately, let us know and there is a good chance we can have them shipped within 2 days. Rest assured that we know the importance of getting your bats on time!

Q: Is Bambino Bats an official licensee of Minor League Baseball?
A: Bambino Bats is also an official licensee of Minor League Baseball, and can therefore engrave the logos of all 160 Minor League Baseball teams. Please see our Minor League Baseball page by clicking here.

Q: What other occasions might one of these bats make a great gift?
A: A personalized mini bat also makes a great new baby gift, groomsman’s gift, father's day gift, retirement gift, and much more.  Try selling Bambino Bats as your team's fundraiser, it sure beats candy bars! Bambino Bats are an excellent corporate promotion.

Q: I don't have a logo. Can Bambino Bats supply one?
A: If you do not have a logo, don't worry - we can use a generic logo (which we can supply) showing your mascot. Or, if you prefer, we can also just use the "Bambino Bats" logo as is, or even substitute your team or league name into the Bambino Bats logo with your city and state. Just briefly indicate how you would like to handle the logo in the comments section of the order form. If you do have a logo, we need "camera-ready" artwork to engrave properly. You can also email us a file created in CorelDraw (.cdr file) or Adobe Illustrator (.ai or .eps file). Some logos from letterhead or word processing programs will work, as will some logos from a magazine or program. The best file types are EPS, CDR, WMF, & PDF.

Q: Can I supply a logo by fax, photocopy, or business cards?
A: Unfortunately, faxes, photocopies, or business cards will often not work, nor will some other digital files commonly sent over the internet such as .jpg, .gif, or .bmp files. If you are not sure, send us an email with the file attached or give us a call and we will be happy to help you. Please mail or overnight your logo to the company address listed below. You can email logos to info@BambinoBats.com. High resolution files such as EPS, CDR, WMF, & PDF tend to work the best. Please make sure to indicate your name, team and phone number or email address with any communication.

Q: Do I have to pay online with my credit card?
A: No. We accept personal checks (order completed once your check clears our bank) and money orders, and you can still use the online form. You may also call and pay with a credit card if you like. Once you complete filling in the information requested on our order form and select “confirm order” a page with your order details comes up.
